Everything you need to know about the Bondi Massacre in Dec 25

It pains me to write this... but I will lay out a summary of the events and what will happen over the next month or so, and then you can skip reading and obsess all about it. It is so predictable, it is tedious.

The attack was politically motivated.

The lefties will all say ‘it’s not all Muslims’.

The righties will all say ‘it’s because you let them in’.

The left politicians will use the opportunity to double down and make even stricter (but useless - see below) legislation to create the illusion of safety and demonstrate care while further tightening their control.

The ‘conservative’ politicians will prove they are not fit to govern as they seek to score political points from a tragedy.

The ‘leftist’ politicians will prove they are not fit to govern as they railroad performative solutions through the system and react to polls. Like trying to ban/ blame social media.

The cops will be lauded by the politicians, and the public will question and conspire to find fault.

The cops will call for calm - as if that will actually work (do you think people won’t run for the exits if someone yells fire?) and then ask for an increase in their budget because the answer is ‘more policing’.

The truth? If you are interested:

There are good guys and bad guys.

Their real motives are complex, and sometimes they will use religion as justification. It is not religion, it is just plain evil.

Immigration is not the problem, rapid erosion of homogeneity breaks social norms and trust, causing people to revert to their basest instincts.

Gun control has never worked: good guys of a high trust society obey the law - bad guys can get whatever they want whenever they want. Legislation constrains only those willing to obey.

Both the pro-Jewish and pro-Palistinian factions share some blame in this outcome. The event should not be seen in isolation: there was a massacre of innocent people and it should be condemned. But solving the problem and preventing future occurrences requires considering the context - sensitively.

Politicians from both sides ignore fundamental human nature because it cannot be changed or governed easily. They revert to short-term, ‘easy’ solutions that entrench their power and create the illusion of caring.

The problem is complex. The solution is a long, slow, tortuous process of cultural change fueled by goodwill in the hearts of mankind (not politicians). The real solution to the problem is spiritual, not political.

Since no one wants to talk about that, the problem won’t go away and sadly, is likely to happen again. And again.

(Side note: Everyone who  ‘subtly’ references the Muslim ethnicity of one of the heroes of the day, fires the fuels of the racism, because they never realise that they are the ones constantly making it about race - the very definition of identity politics.)
